PARACHINAR – The Pakistan Army launched immediate rescue and relief operations in Orakzai and Kurram districts after heavy rainfall and snowfall. The extreme weather blocked key roads and disrupted daily life.

In Orakzai, severe snowfall completely cut off access to several areas, including the village of Kalaya Darbar. Transportation halted, delaying funerals and essential activities.

The army deployed heavy machinery and personnel to clear blocked roads. This allowed locals to conduct funeral prayers and burials with dignity.

Despite harsh weather conditions, the operation was successfully completed. Army teams worked tirelessly to restore connectivity and assist affected residents in Orakzai.
